Early Highway Caution Lights

I just came across these ads for highway caution lights that combined advertising with an acetylene gas lighted safety device.

There is information about Gustaf Dalén who invented a way to use acetylene gas to light lighthouses. The A.G.A Company started the Highway Lighthouse Company to make caution lights for American Highways.
